Privacy
A plain-language account of the limited information HRTW collects and why.
What we collect
HRTW collects information you choose to submit through creator, sponsor, newsletter, correction, or rights communications. This may include your name, email, broad location, public portfolio links, professional information, message content, and consent confirmations.
The site stores an age-confirmation value in your browser’s local storage. It does not store your birthdate. Security services may process IP address, browser, and request information to prevent abuse.
How we use it
We use submitted information to respond to requests, evaluate creator and sponsor fit, send requested newsletters, publish approved work, maintain records of consent and agreements, secure the service, and meet legal obligations. HRTW does not sell member or applicant information.
Service providers
HRTW uses Vercel for hosting and privacy-oriented traffic analytics, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot detection, Upstash for rate limiting, Resend for email delivery and newsletter contacts, and Discord for community participation. Those providers process limited information under their own privacy terms.
Custom analytics events contain labels such as “Discord click” or “creator form submitted,” not names, email addresses, form text, or Discord identities.
Retention and security
Form submissions are retained in the HRTW business inbox only as long as reasonably needed to evaluate, respond, maintain agreements, prevent abuse, or meet legal and tax obligations. Declined application material should be removed within 12 months unless the applicant requests earlier deletion or law requires retention.
No security method is perfect. Do not submit identity documents, financial details, home addresses, health information, or private media through public forms.
Your choices
You may unsubscribe through any newsletter email. To request access, correction, or deletion of information submitted directly to HRTW, email privacy@hashrulestheworld.com. Some records may be retained when required for security, contracts, taxes, or legal claims.
Minors
HRTW is not directed to anyone under 21 and does not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a person under 21 submitted information, contact the privacy address so it can be reviewed and removed.
