HRTW standards
Editorial Policy
How HRTW selects, edits, labels, corrects, and removes work.
Mission
Hash Rules the World publishes independent work about solventless culture, art, glass, community, events, and general adult education. Our goal is to preserve useful work and creator perspectives—not facilitate cannabis commerce or provide medical advice.
Publishing process
HRTW is curated. Maintainers review every creator application and submission before publication. Editors may verify attribution, request sources, clarify safety language, correct grammar, and decline work that does not fit the collective.
Publication decisions are based on originality, relevance, craft, rights clearance, safety, and community value. Audience size and sponsor interest do not guarantee placement.
Content boundaries
We may publish
- Adult discussion or depiction of lawful personal cannabis consumption.
- Culture, history, interviews, art, photography, glass, event coverage, and harm-reduction information.
- Clearly labeled opinion, commentary, and compliant sponsored features.
We do not publish
- Sales, trades, giveaways, sourcing, delivery, price lists, or links intended to arrange cannabis transactions.
- Instructions for producing illegal drugs, evading law enforcement, or unsafe consumption.
- Content involving minors, impaired driving, harassment, doxxing, or unsupported medical claims.
- Work without sufficient rights, attribution, or material-connection disclosures.
Corrections and removals
Send factual correction requests to editorial@hashrulestheworld.com with the story URL and supporting information. Material factual changes will be noted on the story. HRTW may remove work when rights, safety, legality, or trust concerns cannot be resolved.
Creator rights
Creators retain ownership of accepted work. Publication requires a separate written license describing placement, duration, promotional use, editing, credit, and payment when applicable. An application alone does not grant HRTW a publishing license.
Sponsored-feature creators receive 60% of net collected campaign revenue. Net revenue excludes documented payment fees and pre-approved direct production costs, but not HRTW’s general overhead.
